Can I use Sweetheart Body scrub on my face?

For those who have sensitive skins, we recommend not to use it on the face. Otherwise, as the size of our coffee grounds are carefully chosen and we are using very fine particles, you can use it on your face.

Is it true that the coffee body scrubs could clog up your plumbing?

In the kitchen environment, the fats and oils from dishwashing harden as the hot water reaches the cooler parts of the pipework below the floor. This material builds up over months and years forming a thick fatty film. Where this is the case, placing granular material down the pipe work with these fats will stick to this fat layer, and a blockage will build quickly.

In the bathroom, the amount of fats being sent through the plumbing system is greatly smaller, and the oily material is better emulsified with the soaps, bodywashes, shampoos and other detergents we use on our bodies. Sweetheart scrubs use a finely ground coffee powder, that will rinse through the plumbing system quite effectively.
